Part 1: The Majestic Hunza Valley – A Heavenly Cultural And Alpine Gem Known as “Heaven on Earth”, Hunza Valley is a mystical blend of ancient history and stunning mountainous landscape that you dream of in faraway places. This is where you’ll see the approximately 700 year old Baltit Fort, and its twin, Altit Fort which tower over the valley and inspire tales of the ancient Silk Route and royal dynasties. It is however the skyline of Hunza which is going to steal your hearts, Rakaposhi (7788m) in the centre with its gargantuan form to which is joined Ladyfinger Peak to the left with its sharp finger pointing to the sky; and these are tours which will allow you to experience the beauty of them at their most majestic, we will ferry you up to Eagle’s nest at Duikar for the entire valley to come alive in shades of pink and gold with a sunrise which will take your breath away. Head north to Upper Hunza for a vista from Attabad Lake with its stunning turquoise water at the base of towering white cliffs, you can take a serene boat trip on it, or ride over its shimmering waves like a mad dare devil on a jet- ski.

Part 2: Naltar Valley – A Verdant Refuge for the Bold If Hunza was a booming orchestra, then Naltar Valley is its quiet lulling tune– a tucked-away oasis reachable by a relatively quick and somewhat jolting jeep drive from Gilgit. Otherwise known as the “green jewel” of the Gilgit Range, Naltar Valley is a verdant sanctuary, carpeted with abundant pine, cedar and juniper forests – a welcome and verdant contrast to the usually bare and rugged Karakoram peaks.

Naltar for us at Black Yak Adventure is basically a “green retreat”, or a greenescape that offers peace among the mountains. The place is most famous for three beautiful lake(Naltar Lakes); these lakes that change color according to sky, season etc are Satrangi(Seven-Color Lake) Lake , Blue lakeand feroza lake- all of them are so clear that their reflections of the green trees and snow-capped mountains keep on changing like beautiful colors all time. During summer months high alpine fields blossom with green vegetation & farmers take advantage by growing potatoes in fertile ground- however once the winter arrives, naltar valley becomes a heaven for skiers – its indeed very important Ski Resort in Pakistan.
